3" will sound pretty damned mean, but you can say goodbye to torque. A 350 really doesnt need anything over 2.5", going overboard on exhaust diameter is one of my pet peeves.

There was some guy at my HS with a fake 70 Chevelle SS and a full 3" exhaust setup with 1 chamber flowmasters. It was only a little 350, he thought that thing was the sh!t... I just laughed at him. If you want a meaner sounding setup, build a meaner motor.
