Re: Steering column grease
I did this a couple weeks ago. I did the top and bottom bearings of my non-tilt column. The grease in mine was completely dried up from sitting for way to many years. A quick trip through the solvent tank and they cleaned right up. I repacked them with normal wheel bearing grease. Not sure if that was the right kind of grease, but it is certainly better than it was before.
