I ended up using the jeep style door checks that have a fixed metal hook at the end without the rubber stopper, because i figured the jeep style ones with the rubber stopper might fall apart eventually like the stock 60-66 door checks do... the jeep door checks have the double bump on them to hold the door half way , and fully open.....I found that the half way bump held the door closed to much and i took a grinder and removed it and only have the full open bump....one nice thing about doing the jeep door check upgrade compared to the stock 60-66 door checks is that it holds the door open so if your on a hill your door wont swing shut like the stock door checks allow since the dont have a bump just a straight piece of metal..
