I know they are pretty dependable, and fairly efficient. I just wasn't sure about the horsepower i could get out of it. I don't want anything to wild just around 300 hp. I plan on using the truck as a weekend cruiser. I have been down the road of high horsepower with an 86 short bed, fleetside pushing around 450hp. It was fun, but expensive, and not all that reliable. I will continue to look for an TPI or MPI setup while i build the truck. But if i don't find one at a resonable price i think i will try the TBI. Thanks for the input.
