first off, SEMPER FI!!!! second, yes, i do think you should replace all the ball joints. i believe the ball joints are all the same with the 67-72 1/2 tons. i was putting a 4.5/6in drop and power disc brake conversion on my 67 with the 71'+ spindles just the other day. i replaced everything i could when i took the front end apart. upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings. a lot of the stuff was original because it still had factory rivets on the upper ball joints.
