What about moving the seat back to where you fit properly then reinforcing the under side of the floor like stock where your new mount holes end up being?
A spare set of stock under floor reinforcements could be used if you move it back far enough to clear the existing ones. I just used 1/8"x2" steel flat bar on my 69 K20 to fit the 94 vintage new body style truck seat to the unreinforced area of the floor.
