oops - ya know, I was kinda focusing on the front, and you even mentioned the back - sorry. Anyhoo, same applies for the rear bumper as far as paint goes - white for Custom or Custom Deluxe, chrome for Cheyenne or Cheyenne super. If the step bumper was ordered as an option, it was gray-ish silver. I have one on each truck. I guess I like step bumpers.
