I think thats what i have done. I am using a kit from painless wiring for the electric fans. The new compressor only has one conncetion. A 2 wire plug that i believe engages the clutch when the air is kicked on. I just took the 2 wires from the R4 pluge and spliced them into the correct connector for the HT6 compressor. I am just hoping i got them right. I know which is ground and hot but not sure where they go on the new connector. I think its right but we shall see.

Hopefully its something else that is messing up the compressor though. Everybody i have talked have had zero issues with ditching the high pressure switch on the back. Has me concerned now.
