Just consider that fact that if there is any difference in height, the doors probably will not shut right and you will have panel alignment problems.
You may be able to chnge the cab mounts and be OK. You won't know until you do it, what the result is going to be.
I like to think of the cab and front sheet metal as one piece because what you do to one, will effect the other somehow.
