They will bend steel brake lines,... but not the best tool.
Look for a brake bender specific to the size line you are working with and buy the BEST you can afford.
Swagelok in my opinion is the BEST!
I also own an Imperial bender.
It is ok.
Look at Classic Tube or BrakeQuip for other quality benders.
