I can understand you not wanting it in the cab. I wouldn't want the either. I was just commenting on the rear seems like a bad place to put it too.
I guess the floor on the 67-72 cab won't allow you enough space to mount it under the bed/cab like the 73-87's do. Is there room to put a custom built tank along the frame like that?
