I have lined the complete tub on an 86 K5, I used a DIY kit from Herculiner. Cost a hundred bucks and came out great. It is all in the prep, the better you prep the surface the better it will turn out and the longer it will last.

If you have somebody spray Line-X or similar product you will pay way more... I mean waaaay more. DIY is fine for a tub.

Heard good things about the RustOleum and DupliColor, little softer texture than the Herculiner.
