just lift the heads of the motor , who knows the rod stuck between the valve and the valve didnt closed enough and only bend on the piston with the rod sticking down the bore
if thats the case you just might get away with replacing the valve and the little rod for the carb
it ran till it overheated so i guess the rod dint fell to far in the engine and it didnt reved while it happened
its old detroid iron it takes a little more than a little rod to kill it
oh and buy a watertemp gauge while youre getting your materials

i got a job again and having fun at it too
idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real
i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts
