The guys are surely right. You were pricing out cheaper 72" tool boxes and asking out budget brands but want a new high-end one.
Here's your answer in a nutshell!
Good thing about this (going through the dealer on used) is you can still finance through Mac or Snap-on or whoever and then transfer the loan over to someone that has cheaper financing...a Credit Union is usually the best choice.
CL has bargain prices, may have the same warranty (?) but cash up front (you do have the option of touching/seeing before purchase and the price might make it well worth your time) can save big.
Besides...has anyone ever heard of one of these boxes failing?
