I've been working on mine, off and on, for 6+ years. It's pretty amazing what it takes to build a pickup without disturbing the patina. For me, it's been about doing the project, not rushing to have it done. '95 Corvette LT1 w/4l60e swap into a '66 1/2-ton Stepside. It's been a lot of fun.
I bought a '70 Z28 basket-case about 6 months after getting married. We just celebrated our <cough> 30th anniversary last week. Probably should get to working on that one, one of these days...
