I'm not a mechanic so I may be wrong, but I've never owned a car where the pcv line went to the vacuum on a carb. They have always went to the air cleaner, I don't think they need that much flow. I also think it would kill your vacuum. All my vacuum lines are closed, meaning there is no lose of vacuum.
