I've got 40's that sit just about under my seat, headers and 2 1/2 inch pipe. Exit is out the side in front of the rear tire. 3" resonating tips and they are loud but meaty, just like I wanted. Most would think (and be right) that they were too loud if a daily driver, but for a weekend driver they work great. Does yours have any type of chrome tips? That seems to make a big difference.
