Hi dropanddrag71, After raising kids and all of their mess and me and my wife's mess every spring i would remove the full carpet out of the minivan (big carpet). I would do it on a sunny day in the morning, take it to the car wash and blast it clean and return as soon as possible, and move it around on the warm tar driveway about every hour to a new warm spot and by evening the carpet was dry ready to go. I live up north and this would clean the salt stains etc, and it would look and smell like new. Good luck, Brian F.
