Change of plans... Got tired of thinking about all the variables that were against me by not running an electric trans, so I went out and got a 4l60e. It was a core and I plan on completely rebuilding it. As expected, there was some carnage. The plan is to pump up this trans so I don't have to worry about it and then pick up an HP tuners module so I can eventually really dial in the drivetrain. Anybody need a 700r4?
