I own squares, 1981 Chevy 1/2 ton, 1988 Chevy Crew Cab and a 1991 Chevy Suburban. Had a 2000 Chevy 3/4 ton, fully loaded (worthless pile of junk sold in 2005 for $2500 to get RID of it), and a still have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe(205,000 miles), fully loaded, but prefer my squares, (so do the kids). Easy to work on, fix and maintain. Buy AND own, same day. These things go anywhere and haul anything! Tahoe sits at home while the squares take us everywhere, I'm never buying anything newer, plus they are iconic!
