I put a '76 12 bolt rearend under my '70 2wd gmc. I had to cut off the leaf spring perches and weld on a set of trailing arm perches and adjustable panhard bar that I got from CPP. The width was actually about 3/4" wider than my stock rearend ( I had the wider rear in mine). If fit really well and my Boss 338's fit like a glove.

I also used the front upper & lower control arms, steering pieces/parts, spindles, and swaybar. I also used the master cylinder.
