A customer just mounted one in his '79 c-30 along with a 60 front axle, 500 Cad & 545 allison auto. He used the Dodge crossmember that came with the 205. I think he had it bolted to the frame rails with no rubber. I don't know if Dodge had rubber there or not. I do know that the crossmember bolts up to the case without any rubber- I have a 205 Dodge case & crossmember here on my shop floor. I was thinking of the older chevy 205's "torq brace" round rubber mounts as a way to mount mine if i use it someday.

Another customer had a welding shop install a 4-spd. brownie in his grain truck. They mounted it steel to steel. It sounds like an old bull gear tractor tranny going down the road.
