I would suggest going ahead and adding the second cooler if your budget allows. A nice setup with braided lines can be had for much less then the $250 you found if you just piece together it yourself. I think my setup cost around $180 and that was getting the largest cooler I could fine. It can only help control temps and especially if you pull or haul stuff it will make a big difference in the trans living a long life.
