Make your own vacuum advance line
Instead of paying $15-45 for a vacuum advance line, I came up with an easy alternative for my inline 6/Rochester 2 barrel using parts I had lying around (also available cheap).
Replace the existing compression fitting at the base of the carb with a 3/16 inverted flare brake fitting.
Grab a 3/16 brake line, and leaving one fitting on for the inverted fitting on the carb, bend to fit from carb to distributor.
Connect the vacuum advance line to the vacuum advance using a chunk of tubing (probably longer than this one).
Clamp down with a cushion support clamp.
