Yeah about an inch.
I don't jump RR tracks though so it shouldn't be an issue.
The stamped steel pan on my Charger is about 8" off of the ground. THAT one you have to be careful of.
I am not concerned about this pan one bit. Cast aluminum will take quite a whack before it breaks.
