Hey guys,
Please don't overlook the "actual" versus "Agreed upon" value. I could get my truck insured locally for $45/month for "actual" blue book value, which, in it's current condition, is $19.50 short of a $20.
OR, I could insure it for $5,000, 1500 miles a year, must be in a locked garage, for $90/year.
When I was younger, I had my Nova insured for $5000, or so I thought. I got T-boned, but not too badly, they wanted to total the car since the repairs exceeded $1200. I was also paying $140/month...
