Upon further investigation, I noticed the turn signal with the aftermarket socket has the bulb going into the housing from the bottom. When I look on the other side, the plug and wiring look factory to me but the bulb goes into the housing from the top. Which is correct?

Not sure if it matters but its the passenger side that goes in from the top and the drivers side that goes in from the bottom. Whats the orientation supposed to be?
