3/4 and 1 ton 2wd trucks use metal bushings not rubber.

Top pic is a half ton upper control arm with the rubber bushings, lower is a 3/4 and 1 ton upper control arm with the metal bushings. Pics are from ACDelco and are accurate.

Buy new shafts and bushings from ACDelco or Moog. It will fix the slop. Keep them greased.
