Well just to get you up to date I smashed the 87 Burb this summer Destroyed the front clip. We found a 91 Clip and it is now installed. I went to plug in the wiring harness and it did not fit. So I cut and the old plug from the 87 harness and spliced it onto the 91 wiring. Now when I turn on the headlights they work fine but when I turn on the High beams on the Low's go out. Is that the way it works? and is that the way it would have come from the factory ? The truck was a 4 headlight system before if that matters.

Any help would be great.
