Wow . Thats really wierd you picked that song because at heart im a really big caddy fan. I have a CTS and an STS and im looking for an eldorado. When in not driving Chevy trucks im driving caddys. Ok as for my opinion on your very first task besides cleaning our
truck up I want you to do a compression test and leak down test on the engine. That will tell you / us if the engine is worth saving. It won't tell us anything about the crank or mains but if it fails either test there is no sense throwing money at a tranny if the engine is unhealthy.
Anyone agree?
