Thanks for the help.

I tried it this morning...pulled the choke, but left about a 1/4 inch opening...it started right up and did not die..i did not even have to pump the gas pedal...it just idled on its own right from the start....i pushed the choke in after about a minute and it was fine.

Thanks again for the tip....as a "new mechanic" these tips are awesome!
