What do you mean "correct" tie rods. The 73 up tie rods are longer and have larger diameter tapered stud that goes into the spindle. I'm not 100% on this but think you need the later relay rod. You should measure before swapping, I'm pretty sure it is shorter between the tie rod mounting points.
