if your original is not fixable, I would try and find a nice used OEM arm from someone on the parts board and rebuild that. I have bought replacement arms in the past b/c of rust but the they are not nearly as thick as the originals, and I doubt they will hold up as well.
Moog ball joints are the only way to go, in my opinion
