The original linkage should have a rod that runs to the bell crank. If you extened the rod to the middle hole on the carb you should be able to hook it right up. Vernski( One of the member here) did this. You could have him send you pictures of what he did, and that would help you quite a bit. I went with a lokar pedal and cable setup and had it all installed in an hour.
