As for the mechanicals? The truck has been parked since 1985 up til 2 weeks ago. Owner soaked the cylinders, put on a new fuel pump, plugs and it fired right up. Doesn't smoke, actually runs quite well. Drove it around the farm a bit -slowly- as it has no brakes. Right now it's running out of a gas can as the guy wasn't sure about the tank.
First up is to take the tank out and flush it, do the brakes and check all the other seals, etc. Hope to take it to a few cruise nights yet this Fall.
This is actually gonna be a make believe service truck for a 70's style gas station I'm building on the farm. I'll start a project thread soon.
