I just figured out what you mean by behind the manifold. I think you mean on the sides of the block where the down pipes are.

I zip tie the front two wires on each side to the engine mount where it bolts to the raised boss on the block. Do it loosely. That holds them up snug enough to the block that they don't sag down against the pipe nearby.
