They were available both with the underbed carrier, and the side mounted wheel carrier within the bed. Mine has two holes on the bedside where the carrier used to be...and S/M WHEEL CARRIER listed in the option sticker. However, my spare is currently laying in the back of my bed, where it slams into the tailgate whenever i floor it, or flys forward and hits my toolbox when i hit the brakest
