Re: LS 4x4 crossmember issues
What I did was cut the front out of the perches, then I elongated the holes so I could slide the perch upward. So then I had to trim about 1/2 inch off the top edge where it would run into the inside of the frame. From there I cut out and squared up the passenger side inner elbow of the crossmember where it hit the oil pan. Last but not least, I had to take a cut-off wheel and remove some little tabs on the oil pan, as well as a few on the engine. None of these really served any purpose at all.
