That's a lot of miles!

That's still a good deal though.

Rebuilds are cheap. I recently (few months ago) had my A/C in my 65 charged at a place that does nothing but transmissions and A/C. The owner is a GM nut, he owns (and loves) about 5 of the last gen el caminos. I asked out of curiosity what it would cost to rebuild the trans in my 00 Z71 x cab with 150K. He said including removal and reinstall it would be $12-1500 (the $300 is parts dependent, if something more $ tore up) and they would install of the "upgraded" parts that make them last longer. better clutches, corvette servo, etc.
