Yes you can. $310 seems high for a mail order program, I only paid about $60 more for a dyno tune and street tune session (~2hours)

What are you using to look for an output from it? I would think that a stock computer would retain whatever CAN stuff was hard programmed into it....unless the pcm is actually BLANK, like nothing at all.
