do you have a 86-95 engine? thats what that kit is for. i think the better kits all you have to do is stick the stuff in there and not take it somewhere to get put in and get it machined and all that crap. actually i dont know much. never built an engine but want a 383 in my truck.... i know the increase in the stroke of the crank makes the bigger cubic inches and you have to buy 383 stroker rods and pistons.
