Wrong. Mine are properly cleaned and lubed. Stopping backwards 10 to 20 times does a fine job of bring up the pedal whenever I notice its lower than usual due to miles traveled/stops made.
Been doing it for years on Chryslers, Fords and Chevy drums. If yer brakes are properly built and maintained, the reverse adjusters do their job spanky nice.
