The man. set up on the m/c has the rod kinda made on to it similar to that of a later booster. the booster has a lot longer rod because it is mounted way out on the firewall with that weird bracket thing between the fw and the booster. If you are mounting the booster flush on the fw like a late model would so it looks better the rod of course would then be shorter but by how much it is a trail and error thing unless [and I don't ]have measurements
