I'm really not sure what your meaning by custom side marker lens? Are you talking about the ones with the chrome inserts around the lamps? I think that was an entire production run thing [68-72]. One of my favorite things to do is to put van markers from chev full sized vans from late 70's to late 80's the markers are a perfect fit and will smooth up that area as they give more of a flush mounted look.
