That, my friend, is EXACTLY why I chose that particular tube

Sorry to say but I don't believe that the tubes interchange.

I picked up 2 700R4's for $400 and one is in excellent useable shape. The other may get sold.

The 66 I did with the 700R4 (4l60) sits right on 2400 RPM at 65 MPH...

The final OD gear makes the truck a sweet cruiser..
The first gear in those units puts a bunch more gitty-up in the trucks git-along that's fer sure..
