Re: shipping a radiator shroud question
Pretty much gotta' agree with In The Ten Ring on, "if you want it, pay for it" thoughts. Some of these parts for our trucks are just plain HARD to come by. A nice, clean, unbroken 4x4 radiator shroud being one of them. When was the last time you went into a salvage yard asking for a 4x4 shroud and came away with one at a decent price? Just don't happen now days. Here bouts 67-72 trucks are picked clean to the bone within couple days of hitting the yards.
That said, when you ship a part pack it as YOU were wanting to receive it in good useable conditon. I probably go overboard packing when I do ship but have never had any damage thru shipping. Just a thought to ponder.
Yeah, shipping costs are high so do your shopping as best you can but sometimes just gotta' bite the bullet if you want it bad enough.
