Totally depends on how much you get it crossed up and compressed.

I have 6" and 36" swampers and they've hammered my front fenders. If you're getting away with huge tires and small lift w/o extensive cutting, you're not wheeling it hard enough. AND your suspension doesn't flex.

Tuff Country has good prices, and relatively flexy springs up to 6" lift. Superlift, Skyjacker and Rancho are stiff as hell, and will keep your tires out of the fenders better for a show poodle (albeit rancho doesn't make anything bigger than 4"...and you'll need more than that with 39s...unless you plan to WHACK your fenders)

so...all depends on how you wanna use it.
