To each their own...I absolutely cannot stand it when there is a cross-platform blending of parts.
I have a longbed stepside back half and it has the same bumper as the one pictured above, the correct square-body one that is. Ignore the brake hardware...
EDIT for MY OWN hypocrisy: I should have specified, blending of exterior parts like bumpers. Wheels I am ok with across the IFS trucks, the newest ones look great on all of them. I am gathering parts to put a '99 LQ4, '93 NV-4500, and other misc into my '83 so yeah, I'm a hypocrite...except where aesthetics are concerned.
