Also, since the 454SS axle was found under a GMT-400 platform truck, it will have the perches and shock mounts placed for that chassis. They can be cut off and replaced, permitting the axle to be installed in whatever you want. Things to consider, it will have metric lug studs and the WMS-WMS distance is either unique to 454SS trucks or normal to the GMT-400 platform.
If you want to research them, the 5-lug axle part number for the 454SS assembly should be 26016185 the rpo is B4U. (B4U - Sports Performance Package, Sport Performance)
