Couple questions:
a) So where is this stamp located? Underhood somewhere?
b) What makes you think that is a Jimmy VIN?
c) You know that a Blazer/Jimmy is a shorter wheelbase than even a shortbox pickup, right? So - it would take some serious modifications to put a pickup cab/box combo on an original Jimmy frame.
In the spirit of full disclosure I should tell you that partial VIN T61522800 decodes as follows:
T= GMC truck
6 = model year ('76)
1 = Build plant Oshawa (Blazers/Jimmys were built only in Flint)
522800 = sequential portion of VIN, GMCs started at 500001.

With the further mention of Chevy box after he says Jimmy, I am gonna take a SWAG that he is using the slang "Jimmy" for GMC... might be an Eastern WA thing.
